I’m Ryan Traughber, and I’ve lived near the beautiful Rocky Mountains since my family moved to Colorado when I was eight months old. As a lifelong technology enthusiast, I am currently a junior at Colorado State University pursuing a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Computer Information Systems.
I welcome challenges. Perhaps that is why I was determined to learn how to juggle, hula hoop, and ride a Ripstik simultaneously when I was nine years old! I firmly believe that technological innovations have the power to transform life for the better by tackling today’s challenges. This can be as seemingly small as using photo editing software to restore an heirloom family photo to as significant as developing sustainable energy technology to combat global climate change. It gives me tremendous satisfaction to use my technological expertise and critical thinking skills to help provide solutions to life’s challenges.
In addition to my coursework, I enjoy online gaming, nature photography, travel, and hanging out with my 13-year-old Coton de Tulear. I especially enjoy playing cooperative online games with my friends. Some of my favorite experiences from my travels were rafting to the Mendenhall glacier in Alaska, exploring the grounds of Monticello, and hiking to the Upper Falls in Yellowstone National Park. One of my greatest pleasures is spending time with my charmingly quirky dog. She tends to be my favorite photography subject!
